Youth Ministry and Youth Groups at St Agatha's Parish in Pennant Hills

Youth group is a great opportunity for your child to gain confidence, meet new friends, and grow in a relationship with God.

Through discussions, debates and bible reflections your child can learn more about what it means to be a Christian and how to make wise decisions throughout their high school years.

 Our Aim for St Agatha's Youth Ministry is:

To foster the personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

To draw young people into responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic faith community

To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.

There are three Youth Groups at Aggies

1.       Fraggies or Friday nights at Aggies is fun, faith filled, and fast paced. We love Jesus and we want to follow him and get to know him better. We are made up with friends from a wide cross section of schools and we love to learn about Mass and the Eucharist.

2.       D-Generation (High Schoolers in year 9-12) stands for Disciples of a New Generation and the night is mixed bag of Games, discussion, Theology of the Body topics, vocations talks, guest speakers and workshops, we include spirituality like praise and worship reading the scriptures and lectio divina. We love each other, we love God and we love to have fun. Oh and we would love to see you there! (7pm-9pm in the Martin Hall)

3.       Table Talk this group of young adults is sporadic we have random meetings usually before or after university exams we meet for social gatherings, at the Youth Mass, for bible reflections and a retreat once a year we are 18-30 years of age and we like long walks on the beach…Definitely keep in contact through Facebook for up to date news and events.

YOUTH CAMP CALENDAR

Years 7-8 Camp SUMMER CAMP 11^th to the 13^th of January 2013 Forms are due in by the 20^th of December. (Tentative dates tbc)

Years 9-12 EASTER CAMP 13^th to the 15^th of April Forms are due in by the 13^th of March (Tentative dates tbc)

Young Adults Retreat Benedictine Abbey 6^th till the 8^th of July please RSVP by the 6^th of June. (Tentative dates tbc)
